She’s Geeky
The brainchild of Kaliya Hamlin, She’s Geeky gives women in technology an opportunity to get together and discuss the unique issues they face in their respective fields. Hosting unConferences across the United States, She’s Geeky aims to inspire women technologists in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields, provide a space for women geeks to create enduring communities, and foster collaboration and innovation among peers.

History
It all began in early 2007, when a group of women working in the high-tech sector in the San Francisco Bay Area recognized a need for a gathering space. A haven where women who self-identify as geeky could meet in person to support, educate, and share experiences with one another.

Kaliya Hamlin also known as Identity Woman has facilitated over 60 unconferences including the Internet Identity Workshop (IIW) the leading industry forum for user-centric digital identity (bringing together the OpenID, OAuth, Open Social, Information Cards, Shibboleth, SAML and other communities).
